Our Sports Camp is designed to keep children active, engaged and smiling all day long. Across the two days, children will take part in a wide variety of activities including: ⚽ Football 🀸 Gymnastics 🏏 Cricket πŸ‰ Tag Rugby πŸ€ Basketball 🎾 Tennis πŸ‘ Hockey πŸƒ Athletics 🎯 Climbing & Rope Challenges 🎨 Indoor Crafts 🚴 Bikeability (bring your own bike/scooter) Each session offers exciting skill-based activities focused on teamwork, coordination, confidence and having fun. Children will rotate through different sports throughout the day, giving them the opportunity to try something new and develop a range of physical skills. 🚴 Bikeability Information Children wishing to take part in Bikeability must bring their own roadworthy bike or scooter and a helmet. Children will only be able to ride their own equipment. πŸ‘• What to Wear Children should attend in suitable sportswear with layers for indoor and outdoor activity. Trainers must be worn (no crocs, sandals, open-toe shoes or boots). Please bring a coat as we will spend time outside. πŸ“ Drop Off & Collection Drop off and pick up take place outside the Infant School Hall doors by the roundabout of the school car park. βΈ» A fantastic opportunity for children to stay active, build confidence and enjoy a variety of sports in a safe, supportive and energetic environment.

Summer Gymnastics Workshops – Front & Backward Tumbling Wednesday 5th August or Wednesday 26th August 2026 9:00am – 12:00pm Venue: St Dominic Savio School Ages: 5–14 years Cost: Β£19.50 Join Reading Gymnastics for an exciting three-hour tumbling workshop designed for gymnasts who want to improve their front and backward tumbling skills in a fun, supportive environment. Gymnasts will be grouped according to their age and ability, allowing every child to work at an appropriate level. Throughout the morning our qualified coaches will focus on developing safe technique, confidence, strength and flexibility while working towards new tumbling skills. Activities may include: * Forward and backward rolls * Handstands and bridges * Cartwheels and round-offs * Front and backward walkovers * Handsprings and somersault progressions (where appropriate) * Strength, flexibility and conditioning * Games and fun challenges Whether your child is just beginning their tumbling journey or looking to refine existing skills, this workshop offers plenty of opportunities to learn, progress and have fun. What to bring: * Comfortable sports clothing * A named water bottle * Hair tied back if long Gymnasts will work barefoot, so no shoes or socks are required.
